Digital Ocean
You can self-host your Budibase applications using DigitalOcean. DigitalOcean provides developers cloud services that help to deploy and scale applications that run simultaneously on multiple computers.
Docker
You can self-host your Budibase applications using Docker Compose. Docker is a set of platform as a service products that use OS-level virtualization to deliver software in packages called containers. Containers are isolated from one another and bundle their own software, libraries and configuration files; they can communicate with each other through well-defined channels.
Google Cloud Run
Cloud Run is Google’s managed container service and in this guide we will install Budibase with persistent storage using Google File Store. We will also install using the gcloud cli tool but the console UI could be used as an alternative.
Kubernetes
You can self-host your Budibase applications using Kubernetes. Kubernetes, also known as K8s, is an open-source system for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications.
Linode
You can self-host your Budibase applications using Linode. With 11 global data centres and 1 million-plus customers, Linode is considered a reliable cloud service provider. Linode Block Storage allows users to extend their server storage capacity with volumes on demand. Linode Backup allows customers to backup their servers on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. Linode Manager and NodeBalancer both allow users to manage multiple server instances across a single system.
Podman
Podman is a daemonless container engine for developing, managing, and running OCI Containers on your Linux System. Containers can either be run as root or in rootless mode.
Portainer
You can self-host your Budibase applications using Portainer. Portainer is a Universal Container Management System. It helps you configure, monitor and secure containers across Docker, Kubernetes, Swarm and Nomad environments.
